#27 Remo-headed banjo ukulele

This resembles a simple version of the Fluke/Flea relative, the £260 Firefly, which is expensive in the UK. Remo Fiberskyn 8″ hand drums are available cheaply and this was joined (by me, in a rudimentary fashion) to a 14″ scale English ash neck with English cherry fretboard made by Luke FutcherSimple, superlight, (only 400 grammes) plays extremely well, good scale length. High quality friction tuners with cornelian buttons.

  1. Wow! This looks great. I was about to spend almost 2 hundred dollars US, but now I’ll try one of these. Thanks!
