#30 1920s Regal Ukulele, Chicago

20131217_463320131217_463620131217_4635Imported from US, this is the sister model to the Chicago-manufactured Regal Wendell Hall ‘Redhead’. 240 grammes, a beautiful bowed back and simple, figured Cuban Mahogany. Extremely loud with Aquila concerts fitted and some fret dressing to correct buzzing after the action was lowered. Who needs a Martin? Now much better fitted with Worth Browns. Beautiful.

  1. I have the same one and it’s one of my favorites. Missing the label though. Very rich/warm sound, but might switch from Aquila sopranos to Worths per your suggestion. Thanks for the post.
